Earth directed M class flare on it’s way!

This may liven things up a bit

Earth-directed, due to arrive on 9th-10th.

    Jim, Spock here. While you were emoting, I’ve been mentally modelling . It seems likely that if we add some ordinary monolithium to our dilithium stocks, we can get trilithium, which I compute will be Tri ^ tri or 3^3 times more powerful. I calculate that is 27.00000000, which should be sufficient. So we can deflect the proton storm with leth … I mean lith … oh, forget it. Pleathe dithregard everything I just thed. Spock out.

    Either we should inmediately wear our tin-hats (following the “pebbles universe” paradigm), or we´ll wait for ozone to protect us:

    What if the water cycle is not closed but opened?. During summer time above the pole and due to increased radiation, atmosphere´s oxygen is turned into Ozone (O3), which during winter time and specially when there are proton flares from the sun or increased cosmic rays, as during solar minimums (mainly composed of protons-90%-, which, btw, we must remember are Hydrogen Nucleii), then these react with ozone to produce water 2H+…O3=H2O+O2 and increase the “Ozone Hole” once again.
    And…not only that:Those tiny “pebbles” are really a current, and, why not to tell it?, ready to meet in a loving affair with Earth´s negative charge, to enhance, as always, life on earth (though it may sometimes seem catastrophic for some of us…

    Because the power comes from the circuit, the radiation and “wind” of an electric star are the effects of the arc discharges that make up the corona, chromosphere and photosphere.
