Yes I thought you would, it is the right thing to do. There are loads of pictures of the ugly comms masts on google image and Flickr but no sign or any mention of a weather station. That’s the only image I could find that says there is a weather station there too.
There is a ski centre there. I’ve been twice to nearby Braemar this year. Few colleagues have been to the ski centre. Maybe it would be worth to give them a call or visit.
