UPDATE: Nominations are now closed. A big Thank You! to everyone who supported the talkshop by nominating us.
We’ll now await the decisions of the randomly chosen judges to see if we make it into the final round of voting starting on Feb 24th.

After last years success for climate-sceptical blogs across the globe, we hope you’ll consider taking a few minutes to put in a nomination for three or more blogs again this year. You can enter a blog in more than one approriate category. So for example, the Talkshop could go into Science, Politics or our regional category (we won ‘Best European Blog’ last year, thanks to your support).
Here’s the link: http://2013.bloggi.es
Don’t forget you need to click the link in the validation email to get your nominations registered.
Thanks for your consideration!

Some people over at WUWT have been saying the confirmation email has dropped into their spamfolder on G-Mail – could be worth checking if it hasn’t come through.
Super-clear step by step guide to making nominations over there too…
Please leave a note here if you have made some nominations, so we don’t get lonely. 🙂
OMG!
Do not use autofill to enter your email!
I did it and found that every single nominee line had been filled with my name, forcing me to delete every nominee line manually.
However, Rog, you have been nominated for Best European Blog.
Best of luck.
Arfur
Thanks for starting the ball rolling Arfur.
I hope a few more of the regulars will look up from their involved science debates for a few minutes and join in the fun.
So where’s the link to vote then ?
Fair question. 🙂

OK. I used the link via WUWT that Tallbloke provided in his comment. Didn’t realise I had to vote for at least 3 entries. Included Chiefio this year as well, in the Best Kept Secret Webblog !
I put Talkshop in the European Blog again, as that was the one Talkshop won last year.
Done. Tallbloke first 🙂
Thanks Stephen,
the flood is starting…
… any moment now… 🙂
I voted Talkshop in the European Blog.
Also in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered interests. Just for a bit of a cackle.
Best of luck.
Heh, as long as it wasn’t a nomination for the transcendental rant section that’s OK. 🙂

Ha! I thought finding the link myself was all part of a test of my commitment to the cause… 🙂
I have just had a second go at promoting Tallbloke. No URL link sent to my e-mail, even after two days, from my first attempt.
Best wishes, Ian
Thanks for the report Ian. I noticed on the WUWT thread some others had similar trouble, even after multiple attempts. A glitch in the machine I guess. Hopefully someone else who reads this who otherwise wouldn’t have bothered will make the effort on your behalf.
I’m still looking for the Best Headington-Shark category… 🙂
Whatever, so long as you nominate the talkshop for something.
🙂
Done.
Not clever enough to contribute but read everyday.
Thanks GW, and don’t be afraid to speak up.
Well, you didn’t need me last year TB, but I put you (and Tim) forward for the same.
I also restrained myself from nominating the-website-that-cannot-be-named for the “best religion” category.
I’m not sure how sites are formally defined as a “blog”. NurdRage has an incomplete site they are building, so I nominated their youtube clips for the best “Education” category. Chemists, and others, will appreciate some of these. For example look at the ‘cockroach cremation’: 🙂
I have nominated your site along with the NoTricksZone, when will know the preliminary results?
Thank you both:
AC; I hope you nominated a third as well, that’s the minimum. Check your email.

Yes, I also nominated Paul Homewood.
Good call A C O.
Paul has been doing tremendous work on his blog.
