Is this on the dam level?

Henry P sends me this amusing piece of correspondence!

This is an actual letter sent to a man named Ryan DeVries regarding a pond on his property. It was sent by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Quality, State of Pennsylvania. This guy’s response is hilarious, but read the State’s letter before you get to the response letter, you won’t stop once you start. WOW Love this man.

Evidently the letter goes back to ’97 and Michigan. Still good.

Growing up in the country I spent a considerable amount of time watching beavers at a local lake in the forest. The beaver is probably a good symbol for the underground movement to actually develop a real clue about climate nature. Beavers are persistent. Agencies may destroy their patiently integrated natural structures, but they’ll just rebuild, even though it takes forever. It’s what they naturally do. Like beavers we’ve even been trapped and relocated by frustrated agencies. We were trapped in protracted harassment and relocated away from the center of the climate blog network, but here we are still persistently building the bases of natural foundations destined to support forthcoming reservoirs of human appreciation & understanding.

Someone sent me the letter some time ago. I immediately tried to read it to my family, but it seems I put a little too much emphasis on the word dam, as in – dam legislation, dam office, dam letter, dam inspection – and…they all made me stop. (:
