Anti-democratic UN using rent-a-mob.

Does the United Nations serve any purpose at all if it will not guarantee the right of participants to speak undisturbed when taking part in its process?

The United Nations gave explicit permission to left-wing youth groups to disrupt a presentation by the American delegation on energy issues at COP 24, the UN conference on climate change in Katowice, Poland.CFACT’s Marc Morano reports, “officials from the U.S. delegation told Climate Depot on Monday that the UN informed the U.S.  that the environmental activists would be authorized by the UN  to disrupt the U.S. event for at least “7 minutes” and the green protesters would be granted the floor, halt the event, and give speeches during the U.S. event.”

Thank you to everyone whose generous support made CFACT’s work at this year’s UN climate conference possible!  Will you make a gift right now and help…

Totally outrageous and UNSAT! What is the point of the UN if they do this sort of thing, silence anyone with whom they disagree. The time has come to shut them down, the organization has lost track of its reason for existence.

Pres. Trump may well think that the UN is playing politics here.

Typical Fascist, Communist Green behaviour. Don’t debate, don’t listen just abuse those who don’t agree.

As I have said before the UN and all its tentacles is way past its sell by date and should be disbanded just as the League of Nations was before it.

All it is doing is wasting the wealth of the world, holding back progress destroying true scientific advancement.

Are top climate agitators all talk and no action?

TheDCNF asked 31 businesses, foundations and individuals agitating for climate action if they’d support banning private jets.

Most didn’t respond, including representatives for Al Gore, the father of global warming activism.
The U.N. is calling for trillions to meet the Paris climate accord’s goals, so what’s a few thousand private jets?

Big businesses largely came out in support of the Paris Agreement on global warming, but most contacted by The Daily Caller News Foundation were silent on whether they would give up flying private jets.

TheDCNF wanted to test the commitment of big companies, foundations and outspoken activists who back the Paris accord. The question: Would you support a ban on private jet travel to help stem global warming?

Most companies and individuals TheDCNF reached out to did not respond, including Facebook, Apple, Google and other companies that often tout their “green image.” Not even former Vice President Al Gore, the father of climate activism, responded to TheDCNF’s question.

How strange yet unsurprising that climate consensus believers seek to not only silence skeptics but encourage fellow believers to disrupt official government representatives.
This move by the UN should get the attention of all governments:
What else will UN leaders do if a member government does not agree with a particular position?

    1. Contact the Polish cops and ambush these infantile “look at us! look at us!” jerks and haul them off in chains.

    2. Kick the UN out of the US and tell them to stuff the membership, including no more US money.

    3. Turn Turtle Bay into a skateboard park

    problem solved

  8. oldbrew says:

Who is the UN answerable to, apart from itself?

  9. ivan says:

oldbrew, I think the answer to that is all the governments that fund it. If the US-22%, Japan-9.68%, China-7.93%, Germany-6.389%, France-4.959%. UK-4.463%, Brazil-3.823%, Italy-3.748%, Russian Federation-3.088% and Canada-2.923% of $5.6 billion for 2016-17 were to stop paying the whole house if cards would collapse, which couldn’t happen to a better institution.

  10. stpaulchuck says:

Ivan, the only problem with that is that the UN is a central clearing house for all these nation’s back door deals. Even if we got rid of the UN (my vote) they would still be making deals but would have to find somewhere else to do it. Not an impossible task of course but inconvenient to the players.
