Reality check for wide-eyed climate obsessives: the logistics of their so-called plan can never work.

PA Pundits - International

By Paul Driessen ~

Environmentalists and Green New Deal proponents like to say we must take care of the Earth, because “There is no Planet B.” Above all, they insist, we must eliminate fossil fuels, which they say are causing climate change worse than the all-natural ice ages, Medieval Warm Period or anything else in history.

Their Plan A is simple: No fossil fuels. Keep them in the ground. More than a few Democrat presidential aspirants have said they would begin implementing that diktat their very first day in the White House.

Their Plan B is more complex: Replace fossil fuels with wind, solar, biofuel and battery power – their supposedly renewable, sustainable alternatives to oil, gas and coal. Apparently by waving a magic wand.

We don’t have a Planet B. And they don’t really have a Plan B. They just assume and expect that this monumental transformation will simply

The problem is that Environmentalists and Green New Deal proponents only work on emotions and therefore have no real world engineering experience to enable them to see how stupid they are.

  3. stpaulchuck says:

ivan, I would expand that to pretty much all modern ‘liberals’ and socialists/communists. I’ve watched as they write something on a piece of paper and expect it to magically occur.

It’s like drug and firearm laws, which bad guys continue to ignore and always will. Somehow writing that heroin is illegal is supposed to stop it. Similarly with laws about windmills and solar panels. Somehow writing an edict that X number of windmills will be installed somehow will provide electric power _equal_ in quality and availability to gas, coal, and nukes. They wrote it on a piece of paper so it MUST be true. I’m sure there’s name for that type of psychosis but I can’t call it up at the moment.

Apart from being hopelessly inadequate for industrialised economies, these technologies lead to a recycling crisis if used on a really large scale. Or, they just get left to rot after their short lifespan.

Actually, we live on Planet B. Planet A separated from it on November 8, 2016. Hillary Clinton is President of the U.S. on Planet A. For details, see

No fossil fuels. No petroleum means no bitumen to seal the third world’s dusty roads. No development of antibiotics and other socially important chemicals which come from fossil fuel sources?
