Many of the usual suspects of high finance and politics will be flying in by private jet to scope out the financial opportunities and rub shoulders with fellow power brokers. More hyped-up climate fear equals more potential profit, and never mind the ’emissions’.
An impatient demand for the world to work harder to counter “climate change” will top the agenda at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting next month in Davos, Switzerland, says Breitbart News.
Organizers expect some 3,000 corporate and government representatives to fly in from around the world to broach climate issues at the luxury ski resort, with a squadron of some 1700 private jets providing transport for the bulk of the attendees.
The meeting’s theme in 2020 has been announced as “Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World.” It aims to “drive governments and international institutions in tracking progress towards the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals, and facilitate discussions on technology and trade governance.”
“People are revolting against the economic ‘elites’ they believe have betrayed them, and our efforts to keep global warming limited to 1.5°C are falling dangerously short,” said Professor Klaus Schwab, WEF founder and executive chairman.
Schwab echoed the impatience of his peers that the world appears deaf to the entreaties of previous WEF gatherings for action on climate matters.

Boris Johnson and ministers to boycott Davos

Prime minister Boris Johnson has barred his ministers from attending the elite World Economic Forum in Davos, where top business leaders mingle with world leaders.
Johnson, who will also not attend the gathering, is hoping to “get on with delivering the priorities of the British people”, a Downing Street official has said.
The official said that Johnson’s Conservative party promised that Brexit would be delivered by 31 January, and that the government would instead be focused on that goal.

But hordes of numpties, vultures or whatever will still be stepping out of fuel-thirsty jets to demand a slice of the climate ‘action’, by the sound of it.

The climate kooks are fools. The climate kook’s delusions are enabling the oligarchs to take power.
