Over-reliance on computer models isn’t working out too well.

While they are occurring on vastly different time scales, the Covid-19 panic and the climate change panic are remarkably similar. Perhaps there are certain basic social panic mechanisms that always occur, which are yet to be discovered. Yet in any case the striking similarities between these two are worth exploring a bit.

To begin with, each panic began with runaway computer models. In the Covid case the U.S. death count was projected to be around 2,000,000, clearly calling for draconian government action, which soon followed. That number now stands at about 60,000, about the same as a bad flu year, but the damage is well underway.

Claims that the ruinous actions brought the numbers down are belied by the countries that fared just as well without them. Nor do we know what made the model so “hot” as it has not been analyzed, or even…

“Children were already having nightmares fueled by climate fear, now they are afraid to go outside and play.” Not in our neighborhood. The majority of people around here know this is just another political sham meant to micro-manage their activities. Children are playing around the neighborhood just as usual when school is not in session. Neighbors are greeting and conversing with each other as usual. Most are going along with the “social distancing” out of good manners to one another, while anxiously waiting for the idiocy to end.

Yesterday a masked family in Home Depot got irate because there were no carts inside the store available for shopping. The check in gal was frustrated because they would not “follow the rules” and go to the opposite end of the store for exiting to retrieve a cart from the parking lot just 100′ away from the entrance. As usual, Home Depot was staffed with high-turnover floor help who were busy with God knows what, but not tending to the immediate needs of their customers.

The word is out: the corona virus hyped to be so virulent is just a degenerate form of past corona varieties, and can be killed with isopropyl alcohol, common hygiene, and liberal sunshine, In short, go about one’s daily affairs as usual and there is no infection.

The only fear around here is that latent one born of curfew and martial law.

Have you ever been in a situation where someone viciously assaulted a family member and you just knew what you had to do? These people are EXTREME financial terrorists plain and simple. Weather buy accident or design they are destroying the lives OF BILLIONS. Left UNchecked they’ll fatally drown everyone below the median. They’re a danger MANY, MANY orders of magnitude beyond coronavirus …which looks like a barking puppy alongside the vicious dystopian tyranny they’re waging. They are spreading waves of extreme terror.

Thinking that we need to tolerate this level of terrorism is insane. Stop being a victim and assert yourself calmly. Do not debate. Just state: 1. This is strictly unacceptable. Stop bullying now.

The only punishment I can think of that is commensurate with the extreme financial suffering they have caused half of humanity is capital punishment.

media LOVE any excuse to raise the alarm – panic sells ad space. “If it bleeds, it leads!” Then there’s the venal power mongers in government who need a panicked populace to give them unnecessary power.

The COVID modelling is absurd. Imperial model everything as if it is going to be awful, and have done the same this time. They claim they used “the data” but that is always worst at the beginning, for the simple reason that we notice deaths and seriously ill people long before we notice the asymptomatic and mildly ill. Mortality rates ALWAYS come down as we discover that every disease has a preferred victim, and none infect and kill equally in a population. And the two key measures – how many people get it and how many die – are always inversely related- if we all get it, hardly anyone dies, if it kills lots of those infected, hardly anyone gets infected. The people advising the government should have (may be did?) told them that Imperial had modelled one scenario out of hundreds, and so had a slim chance of being right.

Lockdown should have been set up in Antarctica on day 1.
WHO wants lockdown? THERE you go voluntarily to assimilate, but the world stops FOR NOTHING.

The world’s 1 billion poorest would take exceptional pride managing the critical supply of food and shelter for the ice cold lockdown pushers.

No human CO2 excesses in those days, so climate alarmists need to drop the pretences.
