Did they mention personal energy allowances yet?

PA Pundits - International

By Larry Bell ~

Fully expect your future carbon footprints to be traced to a crime scene subject to “climate and energy justice” violations in the high tribunal of sustainability.

The prospective charges?

Such sins will include ownership and operation of an internal combustion vehicle, tampering with regulated upper or lower thermostat setting limits, and/or excessive electricity consumption based upon your maximum household square foot per occupancy allowances.

Why believe me?

Quite simply, because America’s recently controlling political party has already initiated a fast-track train wreck agenda to shut down and replace 80% of abundant and reliable hydrocarbon energy by growing the 5% currently provided by anemic, intermittent wind and solar electricity.

On top of this, the plan will vastly increase electricity demand and costs by phasing out most petroleum-fueled vehicles in favor of heavily taxpayer- and consumer-subsidized plug-in models.

When inevitable power shortages occur, rationing is most certain to follow.

    How Wikipedia sees TEQs…

Overview of how the scheme would work
    1. TEQs (Tradable Energy Quotas) is an electronic energy rationing system designed to be implemented at the national scale.

    2. There are two reasons why such a scheme may be needed:

Climate change: to guarantee achieving national carbon reduction targets.

Energy supply: to maintain a fair distribution of fuel and electricity during shortages.

    3. TEQs (pronounced “tex”) are measured in units.

    4. Every adult is given an equal free Entitlement of TEQs units each week. Other energy users (Government, industry etc.) bid for their units at a weekly Tender, or auction.

    5. If you use less than your Entitlement of units, you can sell your surplus. If you need more, you can buy them. All trading takes place at a single national price, which will rise and fall in line with demand. Buying and selling would be as easy as topping up an Oyster card or mobile phone.

    6. All fuels (and electricity) carry a “carbon rating” in units; one unit represents one kilogram of carbon dioxide – or the equivalent in other greenhouse gases – released in the fuel’s production and use.

    7. When you buy energy, such as petrol for your car or electricity for your household, units corresponding to the amount of energy you have bought are deducted from your TEQs account, in addition to your money payment. TEQs transactions are generally automatic, using credit-card or (more usually) direct-debit technology.

    8. The total number of units available in the country is set out in the TEQs Budget. The size of the Budget goes down year-by-year – step-by-step, like a staircase.

    9. The Budget is set by the Committee on Climate Change, which is independent of the Government. The Government is itself bound by the TEQs scheme; its role is to support the country in thriving on the available carbon/energy.

    10. Since the national TEQs price is determined by national demand, it is transparently in everyone’s interest to help each other to reduce their energy demand, and to work together, encouraging a national sense of common purpose.

Note no. 8: The size of the Budget goes down year-by-year – step-by-step, like a staircase.

And in no. 2 ‘climate change’ can be thrown at us whenever energy supplies runs short, as they must do on a regular basis if renewables are to be the main source.

well, we’d better prevent any more micro breweries sarting up: fewr there are, the easier to control – so we’ll be going back to Corporate Companies – more like to bend…..

National Grid ESO outline new approach to stability services in significant step forwards towards a zero-carbon electricity system
    29th January 2020 – Balancing the grid

National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) has agreed contracts with five parties, worth £328 million over a six-year period, in a new, innovative and world first approach to managing the stability of the electricity system.

It is estimated that the new approach will save consumers up to £128 million over the six-year period, reducing the costs currently associated with managing system balancing and stability, with the reduced carbon emissions a significant step towards the ESO’s ambition of being able to operate the GB electricity system carbon free by 2025.

What they are hoping to *save* could be some of the likely costs of grid collapses or of trying to prevent them, but saying so wouldn’t be good PR.

An excellent summary by Larry Bell of Biden’s suicidal new energy policy. I use the term ‘energy’ loosely, bearing in mind that once the plans are enacted there won’t be much reliable energy left to go around. Dark times ahead. If it’s any consolation for our American friends, our leaders on this side of the pond are firmly holding Biden’s hand as they chuck the rest of us over the energy cliff. We’re all doomed!

No One Voted For It, But Boris The Con Man’s Green Whopper Is Coming

Boris Johnson is perfectly serious about his plans to take away your petrol car, raise fuel duty in the meanwhile, and generally drive you off the road.

It’s all part of his much-vaunted ‘green revolution’ which is coming your way whether you like it or not.

One day, not so far hence, we are going to survey the wreck of what was recently the world’s fifth or sixth-largest economy, the landscapes and seascapes ravaged with solar panels and bat-chomping, bird-slicing eco-crucifixes, the ever-increasing array of pettifogging eco-regulations and low carbon taxes imposed by bureaucrats, the restrictions on travel, the ruinous energy prices, the constraints on liberty and we’re going to ask ourselves: ‘When did I vote for any of this eco-fascist crap?’

The answer is that you didn’t.

  6. Phoenix44 says:

The chances of any government putting in place some sort of complex energy-trading scheme for households is zero. They will simply impose rationing because any kind of trading will result in outcomes they don’t like still. For most, this is about control, as it always is. Far too many people do far too many things they ought not. So ways to stop them have to be found, and climate change is the mechanism they have landed on.

The propaganda is getting so aggressive one is left with the impression the western establishment (most notably USA, UK, & France — i.e. the western nuclear powers) cannot possibly be preparing the population for anything other than a world war and the aftermath.

Let us not waste our time on debate. Debate has no effect on such resolutely aggressive minds. These people are an absolute terror.

Let us pray to God for peace and love.
