Ever-rising energy costs and a blizzard of new regulations await as the government dives further down the climate rabbit hole.

Radical new climate change commitments are to become law in the UK, Boris Johnson will announce this week.
The prime minister will say carbon emissions will be cut by 78% by 2035 – almost 15 years earlier than previously planned – which would be a world-leading position, says BBC News.
And for the first time the climate law would be extended to cover international aviation and shipping.
But Labour said the government had to match “rhetoric with reality”.
It urged Mr Johnson to treat “the climate emergency as the emergency it is” and show “greater ambition”.
The government has accepted the advice of its independent Climate Change Committee (CCC) to adopt the emissions cut, which is based on 1990 levels.
The move comes as US President Joe Biden prepares to stage a climate summit from Washington.
For households the UK targets will lead to more electric cars, low-carbon heating, renewable electricity and, for many, cutting down on meat and dairy produce.
Homes will need to be much better insulated, and people will be encouraged to drive less and walk and cycle more. Aviation is likely to become more expensive for frequent fliers.
Environmentalists welcomed the government’s move, but warned that ministers had consistently failed to achieve previous CCC-set targets.
And they insisted that Chancellor Rishi Sunak must show clearly how the transition is to be funded.

But Labour said the government had to match “rhetoric with reality”.
Reality is in short supply when climate is the topic.
Utter insanity from Princess Nut Nut’s puppet.
“For households the UK targets will lead to more electric cars, low-carbon heating, renewable electricity and, for many, cutting down on meat and dairy produce.”
How will they “lead to” that exactly?
‘which would be a world-leading position’
Clue: the world will not be led. The world will look on with amazement as you self destruct.
Phoenix, I think want they meant to say is, ‘For households the UK targets will lead to less mobility, less heating, more power cuts and the increasing unaffordability of meat and dairy products,’ and they could have added, for good measure, ‘whilst the developing world laughs their arses off at your asinine stupidity’.
Don’t bother looking for the result of trying to shave a microscopic amount off the tiny 0.04% of the atmosphere that is carbon dioxide. Just pay up and look big 🙄
Note: parts per *million* here…
The tiny UK destroying its economy, freedom and culture to satisfy the demands of the billionaires behind the reset.
How sad.

Brits feel ‘left out of the loop on climate change’
20 April 2021
Carbon jargon is proving to be another barrier between the public and an optimistic view of climate change. A staggering 77% had not heard of the term ‘decarbonisation’, 61% had not heard of ‘net zero’ and 42% were unaware of ‘carbon-neutral’.
They haven’t missed much, other than tedious half-baked propaganda.
I live in a scottish marginal but will no way vote conservative this time. George Galloway gets my cross.
We should all boycott the conservatives to demonstrate our displeasure.
Better start saving now 😣
Replacing gas boilers with green alternatives could cost homeowners up to £25,000, MPs and peers have warned, as the Government announced drastic new emissions cuts.

Please please everybody, campaign for the under qualified agenda-ridden Climate Change Committee to be called to appear on the Climate Crisis podium and explain the science, the costs, the benefits. We had such during the COVID crisis- this one is MUCH WORSE according to the Guardian and Joe Biden

Boris’s Net Zero gamble risks fuelling a new Brexit-style revolt against the elite
Date: 22/04/21 The Daily Telegraph
A botched anti-consumer Net Zero agenda will infuriate the very voters that propelled Johnson to No 10 and create space for a Brexit-style party focusing on a new set of issues.
