Welcome to another round of evidence-free alarmist climate assertions and propaganda, such as these gems: ‘climate-fueled weather events’ and ‘greenhouse gas pollution’. The summary says ‘Projects will give better understanding of Earth’s atmosphere’. But wasn’t it all supposed to be settled a long time ago?

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today announced $14 million in funding for 22 projects aimed at improving climate change predictions, says Eurekalert.
As extreme weather events and impacts of climate change continue to escalate, the research projects will advance fundamental scientific understanding of atmospheric processes, ranging from cloud formation to Arctic weather.
Expanding the scientific understanding of extreme weather and climate patterns is key to tackling the climate crisis and meeting President Biden’s climate goals like slashing greenhouse-gas emissions.
“Climate-fueled weather events from drought, to fires, to hurricanes, and polar vortices are becoming more common and more intense and wreaking havoc on our communities,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm.
“We must expand our understanding of changing weather patterns and equip scientists, researchers, and lawmakers with every possible tool to tackle the climate crisis. President Biden and DOE are committed to protecting American communities from extreme weather events and fighting climate change through critical investments in science and research that illuminate pathways to decarbonization and broaden our scientific foundation.”
The 22 projects that received DOE awards are spread across 11 states, the District of Columbia, and Canada and will be conducted by faculty at 18 universities and two research organizations.
The projects focus on, for example, how clouds interact with aerosols, tiny particles suspended in the atmosphere such as volcanic ash and sea salt; how aerosols interact with thunderstorms; and how clouds and aerosols impact the amount of solar energy that reaches the Arctic and Antarctic surfaces.
The data and analysis from these projects will help improve prediction and understanding of the atmosphere, which is essential to addressing President Biden’s goal of achieving a 50-52% reduction from 2005 levels in economy-wide net greenhouse gas pollution by 2030.

We could end the Climate “crisis” right now by slashing government with all its unConstitutional depts and other offices to the bone. All those functionaries should go home and get a life.
None of the announced projects seem out of line — except that they are being paid for by the Department of Energy…..which does not have a mandate to investigate the atmosphere and its physical phenomena.
These “climate scientists” are going to look very silly when the imminent cooling phase really starts to bite…
It will be interesting to see what their excuses are for spending all that money and completely failing to spot it coming.

A “huge” ozone hole that was not expected to exist has been identified in the Earth’s atmosphere over almost the entire tropical region.
The hole is a year-round gap in the planet’s ozone layer, and is seven times larger than the better-known Antarctic ozone hole that opens up each year in spring.

I’m afraid that this $14M funding will go down the drain with little to nothing to show at the end just like all previous $Billions did… The reason is a deep psychological problem among climate scientists, which is the brainless adherence to and ideological worshiping of a physically ridiculous 19th-Century concept, the “Greenhouse” hypothesis that has taken over the mass consciousness and become a religious dogma, no one dares to question.
The utter stupidity of the “Greenhouse” theory as a physical concept is easily understood once you become familiar with the relevant facts and use commonsense. I tried explaining these facts in my video:

This sentence in the above publication (https://www.eurekalert.org/news-releases/958253) should assure anyone with a thinking head that the climate problem will NEVER be solved due to the adoption of a completely wrong approach to it:

1. Fighting climate change is as smart as an approach as fighting gravity. We cannot fight or stop climate change! We can only adapt to climate change driven by natural forces that alter climate regardless of our actions.
2. Decarbonization is a dead-end approach that will only create economic hardship and may destroy our civilization, because climate is not affected/controlled by non-condensing trace gases such as CO2.

22? Doesn’t say much for the existing predictions 😆
But as Arthur Daley would say “a nice little earner”.
This is such nonsense. We know how to “tackle” the crisis – reduce emissions. Everything else is totally marginal. Nor do we need to know in more detail how that works or where or when. Just more taxpayers money given to special interest groups this government likes. Theft essentially.

Can’t be done by pretending CO2 and water vapour determine them.
Maxwell’s”Theory of Heat”‘ p232, from the 1860’s determined that radiative forcing does not exist because Heat radiation passes cleanly through all clear gases with no heating.
