The trouble is, the impossibility won’t stop the pursuit.

By Robert Lyman and Dr. Jay Lehr~
Prodded by the United Nations and numerous radical environmentalist organizations, many industrialized countries have declared that their policy goal is to phase out the use of fossil fuels (oil, natural gas and coal) and to replace them with all-electric energy systems powered by renewable energy. Unfortunately, most people in those countries do not understand the magnitude of the physical, economic and social changes that would be entailed in such a transition. Adding to the immensity of this challenge, many governments have declared that it must be achieved in almost all countries by 2050, just over 27 years from now. This is the so-called “decarbonization” or “net-zero” goal.
Many prominent experts have attempted to analyze from a macro-economic, or top-down perspective the costs of attaining the net-zero objective. Until recently, however, none had carried out a bottom-up analysis that sought…

Robert Lyman and Dr. Jay Lehr present the evil green energy conversion as it truly is, impossible.
But, not enough is known yet, it will be much worse than even can be imagined, based on what we know now.
All the land in all the national and state and local parks will be covered with windmills and solar panels, but that same land will be needed to grow bio-fuels, but that same land will be needed for organic farming.
We had been required to protect nature and much needed development was compromised, now, they suddenly do not require anything to be protected for “Green Energy Projects”. For one example of future disasters, the land use changes will cause drought and floods that can not even be imagined.
Farming practices did cause the dust bowl of the 1930’s, the improvements in farming has increased the food supply per acre, all that will be gone, it has already destroyed many of the places that moved ahead with the “Greening”.
Where Organic Products are grown, often there must be deals with inspectors to get notification of inspections so necessary practices can be suspended for a time period before the inspections.
Not really O/T BUT: as I am sooooh fed up HEARING about all this Junk ( science ), the best that can be done is to REMOVE them / relieve them of their positions. Listening / seeing Eu news aboutthe Snow bomb, bla blah bla …. -50 degrees fall, etc etc, you just HAVE to ask where all this cold is comeing from: GIVEN ( ha hah – don’t make me larf since a webcam seemed to show SEA ICE encroaching upon Akureyri https://www.livefromiceland.is/webcams/akureyri ) that Artic Ice is melting / gone ( sarc – of course ), the WHERE the HECK is all this COLD air mass coming from? FFS we are told the Globe is WARMING, – so don’t go on giving me BS about averaging out temps.
This ( all ) MSM keeps feeding and feeding ( force feeding even – and if we were Geese, it would be illegal) all this tripe about extremes. and in the following report on that News channel ( German , of course ) there are forest fires in Chile … so now of course as in ‘Traitors’ one or two guide the course of history for the gullible . …
For the record, locally not been below freezing for around a week now ( +3 to+6C ) yet the Soil and grassland is STILL FROZEN, and sitting under a layer of frozen rainwater, despite the Sea breezes to move the cold still air. So Soil temps pay no attention to perceived AIR Temps – ‘and’ Aircraft are to take on MORE / EXTRA fuel to burn off whilst circling airports due to striking ground staff or stuff like that …. Whose side are those folk on? Hidden benefits of all t hose strikes to limit public consumption and emission of that black sooty stuff – CarbON, eh? Are Rheindeer ruminants? Santa ? MeThan ks you for what you are about to deliver.
the usual emotion driven non science jerks are pushing this evil nonsense because “climate” is a religion, not science. They truly believe if they wish it then it will happen.
They talk a lot about ‘net zero’ but I have not seen a viable definition of what they are talking about. Is that because they don’t know themselves but use the term because it sounds good and fits the narrative of the green blob?
Well, there is a simple solution to this mathematical problem they missed…
If we decreased car usage 1000x or million times, the resources could suffice…
So look at Amish people, and think about using horse to occasionally travel to nearest town and once in a life to a capital…
Or even more logical solution, which they already mentioned in the article: billions of people would starve… If they’d decreased present population thousand times, the resources would suffice…
So now is a time to go asking our stupid or rather insidious over-lords, whether they plan to cull us in order to meet their Net-Zero goals?!
What about rather culling and zeroing those Net-Zeroists…?

The energy crisis risks dooming the electric car
ANDREW ORLOWSKI
29 December 2022
Western societies are charging into the electrification of transport without actually providing the electricity
It’s becoming clear that the number of people who could become a happy EV owner is now reaching a ceiling.
To be a prospective EV owner you must tick many boxes. You will need a high disposable income, for an EV is increasingly expensive, and the taxpayer-funded sweeteners are disappearing. You will need to be able to charge in your driveway, as the public charging network is unreliable and expensive. And your journeys will be predictable and short, while your longer journeys can be planned in a leisurely fashion.

Nuclear plants face shutdown over tax on windfalls
EDF warns it may be forced to shut two nuclear power stations, which supply 4pc of the UK’s energy, early
31 December 2022
Two nuclear power stations crucial to keeping Britain’s lights on risk being closed next year as a result of Jeremy Hunt’s windfall tax, their French owner warns today.
EDF, which operates all five of the country’s serving nuclear plants, said the Chancellor’s raid on power producers will make it harder to keep the ageing Heysham 1 and Hartlepool stations open as long as hoped.
