The BBC once again trying to pull the wool over the unsuspecting public’s eyes on climate? Surely not! Or…guilty as charged? With Arctic sea ice scare stories looking increasingly hollow, something along apparently similar lines at the other end of the globe proved irresistible.

Antarctica sea ice is at a “mind-blowing” record low winter area of 17 million square kilometres, reports a three-person BBC “News Climate & Science and Data Journalism Team”, as lower levels than those recorded in the recent past provide the cue for yet more media climate hysteria, says The Daily Sceptic.
Of course, the BBC headline is clickbait nonsense, not least because it has been generally known in scientific circles that early NASA Nimbus satellites showed even lower winter levels around 15 million sq. kms in 1966.
But the BBC story does provide an excellent example of how science is twisted to fit the political narrative supporting the collectivist Net Zero agenda.
Any unusual variation in weather and natural events is treated as evidence of a climate collapse requiring urgent human intervention.
The BBC reports that according to satellite data, sea ice surrounding Antarctica is well below any previous recorded winter level. It is said to show a worrying new benchmark for a region “that once seemed resistant to global warming” — that last phrase of course is a reference to the fact that Antarctica has shown little or no warming over the last 70 years.
Dr. Walter Meier, who monitors sea ice with the Colorado-based National Snow and Ice Data Centre, helpfully added: “It’s so far outside anything we’ve seen, it’s almost mind-blowing.”
This would appear to be the same Dr. Walter Meier who was part of the science team that cracked open the secrets of the early Nimbus data that revealed significant Antarctica sea ice variability in the 1960s, including a high in 1964, not seen again until 2014, and the low for 1966.

Ice accumulations have always been the most in the warmest times.
Sea ice is removed in order to maintain the volumes of sequestered ice on Antarctica.
There is not enough snowfall on Antarctica when the ice shelf and sea ice donut around Antarctic is large, snowfall falls on the floating ice and does not maintain the sequestered ice on land.
Warm times with open ocean near the continent is necessary to maintain the sequestered ice on the land. Check the ice accumulations in the Antarctic ice core records.

This year’s sea ice max. is only marginally less than 1986 too. Hardly the end of the world! The ice extent is so vast even a small 5% difference year on year appears massive, but it is dwarfed by the normal annual range where it almost all disappears. And of course ice area is not the whole story, total ice volume, that depends on concentration and depth.
So we are supposed to believe that after decades of no change in the Antarctic, this is suddenly Climate Change? Because the average global satellite temperature is no warmer than before? It’s just so unscientific and so illogical that scientists really ought to be ashamed of themsleves.

By increasing their density in the Arctic atmosphere, invisible atmospheric lenses have been formed and caused the polar ice to melt and the temperature to increase 4 times. Based on the new scientific theory of the natural suffocation cycle of the earth, which is based on the behavioral physics of these particles, we have a scientific road map for the final solution to climate change and global warming. Therefore, any concern about the reduction of Antarctic ice is nothing more than an illusion. Unfortunately, with the increase in the density of these particles in the arctic atmosphere, a huge part of these invisible lenses has entered the atmosphere of neighboring countries, including Canada and Siberia, and has caused the current disasters. Based on this new scientific theory, I managed to warn scientists two months before the Canadian fires, but unfortunately, the delusional scientists ignored my research.
