The Climate Obsessives Powwow number 28 will lap up the melodrama (‘racing’?) even if others are less, or not at all, impressed. The notion of one global temperature is just a gimmick.

Plans to stop emitting greenhouse gases in order to limit global warming are nowhere near enough to avert dangerous climate change, a United Nations body has warned.
In its annual Emissions Gap report, the UN Environment Programme says the climate action plans of governments will fail to limit the global temperature to under 1.5-2C this century, reports Sky News.
That limit was the goal of the landmark Paris Agreement, struck in 2015, when almost 200 countries agreed limiting global warming was necessary to avoid extremely destructive impacts.
Current pledges put the world on track for a 2.5-2.9C of global warming, UNEP said.
Its executive director Inger Andersen told Sky News: “None of these scenarios are acceptable to many, many people who live in low-lying areas, in coastal communities in fire hazard areas or in drought prone areas or flood prone areas.
“So we really do need to step up.”
At 3C of warming, scientists predict the world could pass several catastrophic points of no return, from the runaway melting of ice sheets to the Amazon rainforest drying out.
“Present trends are racing our planet down a dead-end 3C temperature rise,” said UN secretary general Antonio Guterres.
“The emissions gap is more like an emissions canyon.”

But now, today we were told that in UK, Inflation in September (?) was Higher than in October, So, guess what , it suits Government to cherry pick the data to satisfy some ( was it Payouts ?) by using October data. Maybe then the Gov. sponsored Met Office and all those other Gravy train officers should ALSO cherrypick the LOWER temps we have been experiencing this past fe ew months. NO longer the Hottest summer, etc Blah bla blub. Certainly here in N Scotland we have not experienced even a Mild Autumn ( no much Frost, but damp & Cold). The Beasts don’t even like it. Huh, picked some super large Carrots t’other day – they must have thought the recent ONE DAY of Sun, reaching 14C for an hour was the end of WInter and have started their Biennial Growth stage ( Flowering – but getting woody already. and the Tatties are apparently rotting in the ground because the Farmers have had too many acres to cope with on their own…. … Climate change? naw – a generational thing – Greed & trying to show the elders just what they HAVE not LEARNT ( ie and therefore DO NOT KNOW.

Since at least 75% of human caused CO2 is from countries (China, India, Russia, etc. etc.) that don’t intend doing anything about reducing there emissions it seems that the panic is about keeping the “science” (or scam) going for another year or two before people start to wonder why it hasn’t warmed.
Won’t work in Russia where they have been getting some areas with minus 40℃ (which even the Russians think is too cold) about 4-6 weeks earlier than normal this year.

Ice Sequestering on Greenland and Antarctica has always been the most in the Warmest Times. Warm times occur because it does not snow enough in cold times to maintain sequestered ice on land, ice depletes and then retreats, the retreating ice causes warming, which then rebuilds the ice which then advances and causes cooling.
Climate has alternated between “warmer times with less ice extent and higher oceans” and colder times with more ice extent and lower oceans.
More snowfall and ice sequestering in warmer times causes the ice extent increase and cooling. Less snowfall in colder times causes warming later.
The delusion of using worthless models built on a WRONG theory to scare the public continues full force!
We cannot predict correctly weather patterns beyond 10 days using state-of-the-art meteorological models, yet UN and IPCC claim that climate model projections for the next 50-100 years are accurate enough to justify turning upside down the entire economy! This is madness beyond the pale!
To have a sustained 3C warming, we must either increase the total atmospheric mass (and surface air pressure) by 20% or decrease the average planetary albedo by 3%. None of these drivers are in our control, and it’s highly unlikely that such changes could occur over the next 100 years.
It’s highly unlikely that the planet is heating at an observably high rate. It hasn’t shown up in oceans, or in the mid troposphere where according to the theory should be warming.
The mid and upper troposphere show only 0.2 degrees globally since 1979 so most of the warming we hear about comes from ground station data which is clearly poisoned by UHI. There are many studies that show this to be the case.
CO2 can’t be shown to have any observable affect on temperature at this point. It would seem we are all being fooled by fancy math and graphs and models that in reality only show what they want.
In mathematics, you can arrive at the right conclusion using guesses but it doesn’t mean anything in science and we need to wake-up to the reality that we are only fooling ourselves with this nonsense.
*IPCC racing toward ‘dead-end’ climate theory* might be more accurate, or at least less inaccurate.

In the so called climate energy budget as put forward by NASA which supposedly proves GHG warming, where is the actual temperature of the Earth (without solar input) taken in to consideration?
Does anyone even know the temperature of Earth in degrees kelvin from it’s geological activity?
I have looked at radiation transfer equations and the starting temperature of the objects is always taken in to consideration, but not apparently for how warm the Earth should be from solar energy, they always use non geologically active bodies like the Moon for comparison and a starting point.

Yet, how many people understand that year-round polar ice is RARE throughout Earth’s history. Only during the coldest times during ice Epochs within Ice Eras are Earth’s polar caps frozen year-round.
That equates to less than one-half or one percent (< 0.5%) of the past 3.5 billion years.
Just HOW would that be "catastrophic" when it's the norm?
Climate during the recent ten thousand years is different from all of the climate before that during the previous 3.5 billion years. Climate for most of the past 3.5 billion years was much warmer or much colder than this modern ten thousand years. Past climate change went rapidly up or down through the modern temperature bounds.
Why? External forcing has cycled in mostly the same cycles and bounds.
What changed? Ocean currents that diverted more and more warm water into polar regions. Snowfall and sequestering of ice in polar regions and other places. Sea level changes and lowering of water and ice available to exchange places that caused past major cold and warm times. Major ice ages always followed major warm times with more ice sequestering, ice core records do verify this, major warm times always followed major cold times with less ice sequestering. For millions of years, ocean currents changed and more and more ice was sequestered on Antarctica that was not returned to the oceans. There is now enough ice sequestered on Antarctica to prevent another major warm period and that does prevent a future major ice age. At the end of major ice ages, the northern hemisphere thawed ice and put water back into the oceans while Antarctica kept ice sequestered. Future cold and warm periods have less warm ocean to evaporate and produce snowfall and then have less sequestered ice that can be thawed and returned to the oceans.
