WMO03749, Middle Wallop (Army Aviation Centre)

51 08 59N 01 34 12W
Altitude 91 metres

Estimated Class 3.

UHI, local very heavy, site close surrounded by hardstanding and parked cars engine at 10 metre limit, airbase runways, apron, taxiways, hangers, building and village, distance, none.

I am amused at how this site easily meets Class 3 but may well fail to Class 5 if the paving slabs within the met enclosure matter is considered a valid problem. To be discussed. (an article is in preparation)

Hangers are to a WWII design, not looked up the history.

Tim I can no longer access the Liscombe page from this site. It is still reachable by via browser history or Google search though. There are also two Pembury sands pages.

Not modified any URL for some time. (think I have edited one recently)

    WMO03710, Liscombe

    WMO03605, Pembury Sands

    Nothing strange showing here.

Try clearing cache and _all_ browser wordpress cookies. (latter can cause grief)

Yes you are correct. All back to normal now. Cheers for the advice.
