Automobile giant Tesla leads the EV sector with innovations and new technology, says NDTV.
But that was not enough to stop a disgruntled customer from blowing up his Tesla car using 30 kg of dynamite.
Jaala, an idyllic and ice-covered village in south Finland’s Kymenlaakso region with just a few thousand people, witnessed a bizarre incident as the owner of a 2013 Tesla Model S set his car up for an explosion.
The crew of a YouTube channel – Pommijatkat – shot the entire episode that premiered on Sunday with the help of a few volunteers.

EVs face ‘double the risk of suffering tyre or wheel problems than diesel cars’

Breakdown cover provider LV= Britannia Rescue analysed call outs over the last three years and found that nearly 37% of the time EV drivers are ringing up was because they’ve suffered wheel or tyre problems.
That compares to just 16% of diesel and petrol car drivers citing wheel or tyre issues as the cause of breakdown, according to the report.
It said these problems are often attributed to the excess weight of the car, caused by the EV battery.
A battery can make it up to 50% heavier than conventional petrol or diesel car, according to the report.
WOW: A Tesla model 6 weighs more than my 3/4 ton diesel pickup truck. And the truck can haul another 4000 pounds.
