The latest over-the-top climate policy from the American west coast.

American Elephants

The California Coastal Commission is set to empower local governments to pursue eminent domain to take 1,100 miles of coastline in order to prepare for sea level rise. Local jurisdictions will implement a “managed retreat” policy that will allow taking and demolishing coastal homes and businesses.

This will allow communities to dismantle and relocate power plants, 250 miles of highway, 1,500 miles of roads and 110 miles of railway.

This battle is going to be fun, when the state tries to take Environmentalist Tom Steyer’s coastal property, in the name of saving the rest of California from the horrors of global warming and its sea level rise.

Scientists are not sure that there is any rise in sea level at all. What little discrepancy they see may simply be coastline shrinking.

Roy Spencer PhD. noted recently that “Climate Models are warming the Global Lower Atmosphere 67% Faster than the average…

California is now officially a bizarre and toxic hybrid between eco-fascism and climatocracy tyranny.
Complete with thought crimes, it’s imported underclass of undocumented illegal immigrants, and an Inquisition fueled by search engine empowered Inquisitors.

There must be something in the air or water that makes those in California believe anything the snake oil salesmen say and part with their wealth. In this day and age, we can replace snake oil with the fake science of the UN Church of Climatology.

The insanity in that state is to the point I actually look forward to impending economic and climate collapse of 2032. If that doesn’t cause a major reset in people’s thinking then they, and perhaps too many others are doomed.

In the late 80s, I witnessed the destruction of extremely valuable homes on the west end of Dune Road in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, New York. The ocean was allowed to claim them, when simple jetties would have easily saved them.

Jetties have been constructed all over the east coast. The governments involved in Westhampton Beach, pressured by environmentalists, refused to allow the construction of new jetties.

My point is you have no reason to expect rational action from the California Coastal Commission. Their goals and objectives are not ours. They will do radical things, all while believing THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE DOING THE RIGHT THINGS.

Telling them seas are not rising will do no good. Showing them proof that seas are not rising will do no good. It is purely political. This is not science; science will not stop them.
