Climate change protesters blockade government energy department

Does the UK public have much appetite for this manufactured ‘crisis’ and its over-excitable advocates? The idea that the Earth’s climate can somehow be controlled with technology is a damaging delusion.

Demonstrators have blockaded the UK energy department in London over what they call the climate change crisis, reports BBC News.

They blocked entry to the offices by lying chained together on the pavement.

The UK is seen as a leader in policies to reduce greenhouse gases and ministers will soon be considering tougher targets.

But the protesters say research suggests the chance of keeping global temperature rise under a 2C danger threshold is just one in 20.

Some demonstrators also glued themselves to the door of the department building.

Further protests are planned through the week and the demonstrators believe the public will take them seriously, as they are willing to go to jail for their cause.

    Living proof that media brainwashing can work:

    At the media launch of Extinction Rebellion, one young woman teared up, asking whether runaway climate change was an acceptable choice, when it was suggested that their demands were unlikely to be met.

    I suggest their measured IQ’s won’t break 90 anywhere among them. These are people whose entire lives are ruled by feelings and emotions. They also tend to be of infantile character constantly seeking that pat on the head from anyone to validate their insignificant lives.

    So, they convince themselves that [fill in the blank with your favorite] is of cosmic importance and that they will overcome [whatever] and bring rainbows and unicorns for all. They are tone deaf to any proofs against their crusade of course. For them it would be like Christians suddenly giving credence to the idea Satan is the good guy.

    This is why they attack with insane fervor when anyone dares to criticize their current crusade. You all have seen the foam-at-the-mouth responses from lefties and libs when the subject of AGW comes up. QED.

    Real-World Spectral Measurements Show The ‘Greenhouse Theory Is Wrong’ – ALL Gases Are GHGs
    By Kenneth Richard on 12. November 2018

    A new paper entitled “Quantum Mechanics and Raman Spectroscopy Refute Greenhouse Theory” has recently been made available online.

    Written by Blair D Macdonald, an independent researcher specializing in fractal geometry and quantum mechanics, the analysis utilizes real-world IR spectral measurements from a Raman spectrometer (laser).

    So the culprit is…atmospheric mass, as Nikolov & Zeller have shown.

    Paper: N2 spectra can be demonstrated to absorb IR radiation by experiment

    These protesters are wasting everyone’s time, including their own.

    don’t speak about it or we will have demands to reduce nitrogen levels. Fortunately we can point to the Haber process as a solution (in a million years).

    @stpaulchuck In addition to your proposition, research into the aggregate IQ of groups and committees has resulted in finding the functional IQ of such generally devolves to that of the least among them, not including the findings that crowds tend toward primitive behavior the greater the perceived threat (Canetti)

    IMO, demonstrators are, like Heinlein characterized committees, a multi-bipedaled ouroboros forever consuming themselves. I’m not impressed nor persuaded by adults who behave like spoiled toddlers in diapers.

    Such antics of minorities to get their way ought to be dealt with by knock-out gas. Round them up and let them come-to at the nearest public assembly location.

    Tom – sounds like the carbon cycle, but they’re still pushing the re-radiation nonsense.

    These people should be required to attend a course where sceptical papers are given equal prominence to the MSM outpourings. They should only be allowed to finish the course when they have shown that they comprehend the scientific facts.
    The designers of the course must be a 50/50 split of sceptics to warmists, pledged to keep politics out of the discussions.

    After all this principle is being used for speeding motorists already.

  13. EternalOptimist says:

    Average IQ of 90 ? To be fair, glueing these protesters to the ministry has probably increased the IQ of the general population AND the ministry of energy to boot.
    win win.
    leave them glued on.

  14. oldbrew says:

    the demonstrators believe the public will take them seriously

    The public will barely notice.

    If they are actually glued to the entrance then someone should go along and make sure they are – a few days and nights glued in place should cause them to do a little thinking. As for those down on the pavement a high pressure road and pavement washer would work wonders.

    Another thought. Maybe all the ladies going into work should wear spike healed shoes and just walk over those in the way.

    You will note that I have absolutely no patience with idiots like that – all they are doing is showing their and the education system’s ignorance.

    And point is that probably less than 10% of these ‘protesters’ (aka rent a mob) have heard of the carbon cycle, or the idea that we all need a minimum of CO2 in the atmosphere to survive.
    One of my relatives is a paid-up member of the Greens (thankfully living abroad). When visiting here has voiced, on more than one occasion that CO2 should be eradicated from the atmosphere! No amount of argument works with her as she always immediately jumps to the emotional response — You’re a a denier! You agree with Trump! You’re not a scientist! etc.,etc …
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    I also wonder how many of Soros’ paid lackeys (or his affiliated organizations) were involved in planning and execution of this ‘protest’?
  18. oldbrew says:
    So someone who doesn’t know that plants and vegetation die if CO2 gets too low, says ‘You’re not a scientist!’
    Pot – meet kettle.
    Exactly. Climate Change Act 2008 just isn’t destructive enough.
  20. Jim says:
    I would like to claim, I believe global warming ” is good”. I like beaches, bikinis, and warmth. As opposed to what the activists want. No global warming means ice. Year round. No growing season, less food, fewer clear skies, no beach jaunts. I hate snow bunnies. Darn them. They are not working against pollution, a common evil, but wanting to cool our planet. Where do we fall back to on their misguided effort, to an ice shelf? That’s no fun.
  21. Gamecock says:
    Don’t take it too seriously, Jim. The protestors are trying to give their miserable lives some meaning. They think they are succeeding.
  22. oldbrew says:
    Stop Press! We’re Guardian readers are all doomed…again 😎
    What a miserable life.
  23. Russ Wood says:
    Terry Pratchett had it that the IQ of a mob is the IQ of its stupidest member, divided by the number of people in the mob. Seems like some ‘greenies’ are trying to prove that hypothesis!
