Earth and climate – an ongoing controversy
One person’s point of view is another’s ‘misinformation’ it seems. The BBC and others of a climate alarmist persuasion don’t understand, or won’t accept, that in real science differences of opinion can’t just be switched off or stigmatised.

A dozen scientists, politicians, and campaigners say they have been tricked into participating in online events promoting climate-change denial, say BBC News climate disinformation reporters.
The events were organised by the Creative Society, an international activist group that denies global warming is being caused by human activity.
The overwhelming majority of scientists agree greenhouse gases – which trap the Sun’s heat – are causing a rise in global temperatures.
But the Creative Society alleges, without any credible evidence, a conspiracy and condemns what it calls the “CO2 fraud”.
The group told BBC News it “provides a platform for all ideas to be expressed” and rejected allegations it tricked anyone into participating in its events.

Readers should click over to the full story. The BBC quotes several people w didn’t bother to check out the Creative Society before they gave their interviews. But they do not give a single quote of what any of these dissatisfied “experts” said or what they object to in the final presentations. Not a Single One!
BBC only reports their dissatisfaction — but not what they were dissatisfied about.

What a load of cow patties, i.e. an outright lie. First off there is NO greenhouse effect. It requires a mid-tropospheric hot spot and none exists, nor will it ever as studied and written about by real scientists. The Beeb, like so many in America is totally taken over by wokesters and ‘progressives’ who haven’t the first chop in the sciences but do love a disaster story. It sells clicks and papers.
Without made-up, science fiction disaster scenarios to sell ad space on, they’d have to go back to arrests for drunken driving and stories of stolen bicycles.

Peter Sissons was clearly uncomfortable with the BBC’s coverage of climate change, saying:
“The corporation’s most famous interrogators invariably begin by accepting that ‘the science is settled’ when there are countless reputable scientists and climatologists producing work that says it isn’t. It is, in effect, BBC policy, enthusiastically carried out by the BBC’s environment correspondents, that those views should not be heard.”
He added:
“I was not proud to be working for an organisation with a corporate mind so closed on such an important issue.”

Sickener this morning pre-breakfast news: blabbing about standby modes again ( OK OK millions of tvs etc consuming 1Watt ) but then we get BT wanting to switch us over to DigitalPhones ( VOIP ?) so no electricity = no phones working in house. Not to mention ALL the cordless tools in lieu of liquid fuels which have tobe “MAINRTAINED” on trickle charge, etc. …. read for yourselves the complexities of maximising battery life, etc. ON a hiding to nothing there. 17 litres in the tank pretty well remains there until consumed for useful work. and so on it goes.
TOast is ready – from my oil-fired rayburn. -1C outside this morning at 6am, just above sea-level -almost in MAY. global warming ? – and 97% idiots agree there is WARMING ? Lost MOST of this years “Organic” tree fruit already with those cold nights for past month or so – 2 years running now. no need for lack of E. European Pickers once again.
